Navistar Schedules Conference Call Web Cast

WARRENVILLE, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 28, 2002--Navistar International Corporation (NYSE: NAV) the nation's largest commercial truck, school bus and mid-range diesel engine producer, announced today that it will hold a live audio web cast at 1 p.m. Central Standard Time, Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2002, to discuss the new contract with the United Auto Workers union and culmination of its focused facility program that will lower breakeven, reduce fixed, variable costs to improve profit opportunities throughout the business cycle.

Speakers on the call include: John R. Horne, Navistar chairman and chief executive officer and Robert C. Lannert, vice chairman and chief financial officer.
